Our Annual Goals
Myanmar Relief is committed to providing practical humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and natural disasters in Myanmar and along the Thailand–Myanmar border.
During our first operating year, we aim to:
1. Clean Water & Sanitation
- Launch our first clean water project.
- Improve access to safe drinking water for displaced families and students.
- Promote hygiene education where appropriate.
Success Measures
- At least 1 clean water system planned or installed.
- Up to 150 people receiving improved access to safe water.
- Water quality tested before project completion.
2. Emergency Relief
Provide emergency assistance when funding allows.
Success Measures
- Number of emergency relief distributions completed.
- Number of families assisted.
- Distribution reports published.
3. Health & Disability Support
Support people with disabilities and vulnerable individuals through mobility and health-related assistance.
Success Measures
- Number of mobility aids distributed.
- Number of beneficiaries assisted.
- Follow-up documentation completed.
4. Education Support
Support learning opportunities for children and displaced communities.
Success Measures
- Number of schools or learning centers supported.
- Number of students benefiting.
- Educational materials distributed.
5. Organizational Development
Build a transparent and sustainable nonprofit organization.
Success Measures
- Maintain IRS 501(c)(3) compliance.
- Publish regular website updates.
- Expand volunteer network.
- Apply for grants and partnerships.
- Maintain financial transparency.
How We Measure Success
Myanmar Relief evaluates each program using measurable indicators including:
- People served
- Families assisted
- Projects completed
- Funds raised
- Funds spent on programs
- Geographic areas reached
- Partnerships established
- Public reports published
- Donor accountability
- Program photographs and documentation (when appropriate and with respect for privacy)
