How Donations Are Used
Myanmar Relief was created to support vulnerable people from Myanmar, including families facing hardship, displaced communities, refugees, migrants, children, elderly people, people with disabilities, and communities affected by poverty, conflict, natural disasters, and limited access to basic needs.
We believe even small donations can make a meaningful difference when they are used carefully, respectfully, and transparently.
This page explains how donations may be used in the future and how Myanmar Relief plans to review support requests before any funding or assistance is provided.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Myanmar Relief is to provide practical humanitarian support to people and communities in need.
Our focus is not political. Our mission is humanitarian.
We aim to support basic human needs such as food, education, health-related assistance, wheelchair and mobility support, emergency family help, funeral assistance, disaster relief, refugee and migrant support, and small community support through responsible giving and trusted partnerships.
What Donations May Support
Donations to Myanmar Relief may be used for practical needs such as food and basic supplies for vulnerable families, displaced people, elderly people, children, and communities facing hardship.
Donations may also support education needs such as notebooks, school supplies, learning materials, small student support, and help for children from vulnerable communities.
Myanmar Relief may use donations for wheelchair and mobility support for people with disabilities, elderly people, injured people, or individuals who need mobility assistance.
Donations may also support health-related needs such as basic medical assistance, transportation for care, hygiene supplies, medicine, and support connected to trusted clinics, community health workers, or local health groups.
Emergency family support may include help for families facing urgent hardship, displacement, disaster, illness, funeral needs, or sudden crisis.
Donations may also support selected community organizations, churches, local NGOs, clinics, schools, or humanitarian groups that can provide proper information, receipts, updates, and reports.
Future Support Through Directory Organizations
Myanmar Relief may maintain a directory of humanitarian organizations, local NGOs, churches, community groups, United Nations agencies, public institutions, clinics, schools, and support networks connected to Myanmar communities.
In the future, donations may be used to support selected organizations listed in our directory or identified through trusted community connections.
Before any support is provided, Myanmar Relief will review the organization’s mission, registration status when available, contact information, donation process, receipt policy, reporting ability, transparency practices, and whether the proposed support matches our humanitarian purpose.
Listing an organization in our directory does not mean automatic funding, official partnership, endorsement, or affiliation. Each future support decision will be reviewed carefully based on need, available funds, donor intent, safety, legal considerations, and the organization’s ability to provide proper documentation.
How We Review Support Requests
Before Myanmar Relief provides future support, we may review the purpose of the request, the organization or person requesting support, registration or public information when available, contact details, communication history, and whether receipts or written confirmation can be provided.
We may also review whether photos, reports, or updates can be shared responsibly, whether the support matches our mission, whether funds are available, and whether the request is safe, legal, and humanitarian.
We want to help where support can be used responsibly and where basic documentation is possible.
What We Do Not Support
Myanmar Relief focuses only on peaceful humanitarian support.
We do not intend to support armed groups, political campaigns, military activity, hate speech, discrimination, illegal activity, personal misuse of funds, unverified requests with no clear purpose, or any activity that could put vulnerable people at risk.
Our goal is to provide responsible humanitarian help with dignity, care, and transparency.
Our Transparency Promise
Myanmar Relief is committed to responsible giving. As the organization grows, we plan to keep records of donations, expenses, receipts, partner communication, and support activities.
When possible, we will share general updates with donors and supporters. However, we will also respect the privacy, dignity, and safety of vulnerable people.
We will not share private personal information, sensitive images, or identifying details without care and permission.
Small Donations Matter
A small donation may help buy notebooks for a child. Several small donations together may help provide food for a family. A larger donation may help support a wheelchair, health-related need, school supplies, funeral assistance, disaster relief, or emergency family support through a trusted organization.
Every honest gift matters when it is used with care.
Final Note
Myanmar Relief is still growing. Our future donation process, support partners, reporting system, and transparency practices may develop over time.
This page explains our intended approach and our commitment to using donations responsibly, carefully, and with respect for the people we hope to serve.
