Partner With Myanmar Relief
Partner with Myanmar Relief to support vulnerable people from Myanmar, including displaced families, refugees, migrants, children, elderly people, people with disabilities, and communities affected by poverty, conflict, natural disasters, and hardship.
Myanmar Relief is a U.S.-based humanitarian nonprofit created to raise support in the United States and provide practical help through trusted local organizations already serving people in need.
We believe strong partnerships can bring real help to people who need education, emergency aid, basic health support, wheelchair assistance, funeral assistance, disaster relief, refugee support, and job-readiness opportunities.
Our goal is not to replace local organizations. Our goal is to support trusted partners that already understand the needs, culture, language, and daily challenges of Myanmar communities.
Myanmar Relief welcomes partnership interest from local NGOs, community-based organizations, schools, clinics, churches, companies, civic groups, volunteers, donors, and supporters who care about responsible humanitarian work.
Why Partnership Matters
Humanitarian work becomes stronger when people work together. Many Myanmar families face serious challenges. Some children need school supplies. Some families need emergency food and hygiene items. Some elderly people need medical transport. Some people with disabilities need wheelchairs or mobility support. Some families affected by disasters need urgent relief. Some young adults need job-readiness skills to build a safer future.
Local organizations already serve these communities every day. They know which families need urgent help, which schools need supplies, which patients need transport, and which programs can create the most impact.
Myanmar Relief wants to become a bridge between U.S. supporters and trusted local partners. We raise awareness and support in the United States, then help fund practical projects through responsible organizations serving Myanmar communities.
Who Can Partner With Us?
Myanmar Relief welcomes several types of partners. Each partner can help in a different way.
Local NGOs and Community Groups
We hope to connect with trusted organizations already serving vulnerable Myanmar families and communities.
Possible local partners may include community schools, migrant learning centers, clinics, emergency aid groups, disaster relief groups, disability support groups, youth programs, women and children’s support groups, community-based organizations, small local NGOs, churches, and volunteer networks.
If your organization serves Myanmar families, refugees, migrants, displaced people, children, elderly people, people with disabilities, or vulnerable communities, we welcome your introduction.
You may contact us with your organization name, location, program area, current needs, and a simple project idea.
Churches and Faith Communities
Churches can play an important role in supporting humanitarian work. Myanmar Relief welcomes churches, mission committees, small groups, and faith communities that want to help vulnerable families with dignity and respect.
Church partners may help by supporting one small project, collecting school supplies, sponsoring hygiene kits, helping with wheelchair support, supporting disaster relief, hosting an awareness event, introducing donors, sharing our mission with church members, or supporting emergency family aid.
Myanmar Relief focuses on humanitarian aid. We do not support forced religious activity, pressure on vulnerable people, or aid tied to conversion. Our mission is to help people with dignity.
Companies and Small Businesses
Companies and small businesses can support Myanmar Relief through sponsorship, in-kind donations, employee giving, professional services, or community service.
Business partners may help with school supplies, hygiene items, medical or wheelchair support, funeral assistance, disaster relief supplies, printing and outreach materials, website or technology support, event sponsorship, matching gifts, volunteer support, or professional services.
Local businesses, Myanmar-owned businesses, hotels, restaurants, clinics, Asian grocery stores, and community companies can all help build hope.
Even a small company can support one focused project, such as school supplies for children, mobility support for a person with a disability, or emergency relief for a family in crisis.
Individual Volunteers
Volunteers can help Myanmar Relief grow responsibly. We welcome people with skills in writing, website support, social media, translation, fundraising, accounting, grant research, nonprofit administration, and community outreach.
Volunteer support may include writing website updates, researching grants, contacting churches, helping with social media, translating Burmese, Karen, or English materials, preparing reports, building donor lists, supporting fundraising events, or reviewing partner information.
Even a few hours each month can help us build a stronger and more trustworthy organization.
What We Support Through Partners
Myanmar Relief focuses on practical humanitarian support. We want each project to meet a clear need and help vulnerable people with dignity.
Education Support
We support projects that help children continue learning. This may include school supplies, backpacks, notebooks, classroom materials, uniforms, and support for community schools or migrant learning centers.
Education gives children stability, hope, and opportunity. A small grant can help children stay connected to school during difficult times.
Emergency Family Aid
We support trusted partners that provide food, hygiene items, clothing, blankets, household supplies, funeral support, and urgent assistance to vulnerable families.
Emergency aid can help families survive difficult moments with dignity. We aim to support practical needs through partners who know the community well.
Basic Health Support
We may help partners support medical transport, basic health referrals, hygiene supplies, medicine, and community health needs.
Myanmar Relief does not plan to operate a clinic. Instead, we hope to support trusted health partners and community organizations that already serve vulnerable families.
Wheelchair and Mobility Support
We have a special interest in helping elderly people, people with disabilities, injured individuals, and people with mobility challenges. Support may include wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, mobility aids, repair support, or transport assistance.
A wheelchair can help a person move, attend school, visit a clinic, join family activities, or regain independence. We want to support these needs through trusted partners who can identify real cases responsibly.
Disaster Relief
We support trusted partners that help communities affected by floods, storms, fires, earthquakes, displacement, or other emergencies.
Disaster relief may include emergency food, clean water, hygiene supplies, clothing, blankets, temporary shelter support, medical support, and basic household supplies.
Refugee and Migrant Support
Many Myanmar families live as refugees, migrants, or displaced people in border areas and nearby communities. They may face language barriers, job insecurity, limited access to education, limited healthcare, and difficulty receiving basic services.
Myanmar Relief aims to support trusted organizations that are already helping refugee and migrant families with practical needs.
Job-Readiness Support
We support practical skills that help youth and adults prepare for better opportunities. This may include English, computer basics, Excel, customer service, hospitality skills, resume help, workplace communication, and interview practice.
Job-readiness programs can help people gain confidence and prepare for safer work opportunities.
How Our Partnership Model Works
Myanmar Relief uses a simple small-grant and project-support model.
First, a trusted partner identifies a real need.
Second, the partner shares a short project request, basic budget, and expected impact.
Third, Myanmar Relief reviews the request to make sure it matches our mission.
Fourth, we raise or allocate support when funds are available.
Fifth, the partner carries out the project.
Sixth, the partner shares a simple update or spending summary.
Seventh, Myanmar Relief shares safe and respectful updates with supporters.
This model helps local organizations do what they already do well while giving U.S. donors more confidence and transparency.
What We Look for in a Partner
Myanmar Relief wants to work with partners who share our values of dignity, transparency, safety, and responsible humanitarian support.
A strong partner should have a clear humanitarian mission, experience serving vulnerable Myanmar communities, local knowledge, trust in the community, basic recordkeeping ability, a clear project need, willingness to provide simple updates, commitment to child protection and dignity, no connection to armed-group fundraising, and no political or hate-based activity.
We understand that small community groups may not have perfect paperwork. However, we still need basic trust, clear communication, and responsible use of funds.
Information Partners Should Send
If your organization wants to partner with Myanmar Relief, please send basic information.
Please include your organization name, contact person, email or phone number, location or service area, website or Facebook page if available, main programs, communities served, current needs, simple project idea, estimated budget, photos or reports from past work if safe, and references if available.
You do not need to send a long proposal at first. A short introduction is enough to begin a conversation.
What We Do Not Support
Myanmar Relief focuses only on humanitarian work.
We do not support political campaigns, armed groups, military activity, hate speech, forced religious activity, unsafe programs involving children, fraudulent requests, unknown individuals without verification, or projects that may endanger vulnerable people.
Our mission is to help people with dignity, neutrality, and care.
Partnership With Donors
Donors are also important partners. Myanmar Relief welcomes individuals, families, churches, companies, and community groups that want to support humanitarian work for Myanmar communities.
Donor partners can help by supporting a specific campaign when available, sponsoring education support, supporting emergency family aid, helping with wheelchair support, supporting disaster relief, introducing churches or businesses, sharing our website, volunteering skills, or joining future fundraising events.
Until Myanmar Relief receives 501(c)(3) recognition or uses an approved fiscal sponsor, donations may not be tax-deductible. We will clearly explain donation status before accepting support.
Our Promise to Partners
Myanmar Relief wants to build respectful partnerships. We do not want to control local organizations or create unnecessary paperwork. At the same time, we must protect donor trust and vulnerable communities.
Our promise is to communicate honestly, respect local knowledge, keep donor expectations clear, protect privacy and dignity, avoid political or armed-group support, start with small projects, share updates when safe, and grow partnerships responsibly.
We believe good partnerships require trust on both sides.
Start Small, Build Trust
Myanmar Relief is a developing humanitarian nonprofit. We plan to grow carefully and responsibly. We may not be able to fund every request immediately, but we want to learn from trusted organizations and build long-term relationships.
At the beginning, we may support small projects such as school supplies, hygiene kits, emergency family aid, wheelchair or mobility support, disaster relief supplies, funeral assistance, education materials, or job-readiness training.
Small grants can still create meaningful results when local partners use them well.

Partnership is the heart of Myanmar Relief. We believe U.S. supporters and trusted local organizations can work together to help vulnerable Myanmar families receive practical support with dignity.
Local partners bring knowledge, access, and experience. Donors bring resources and compassion. Volunteers bring time and skills. Together, these efforts can support education, emergency aid, health care, wheelchair assistance, funeral assistance, disaster relief, refugee support, and job-readiness programs for people who need hope and stability.
Myanmar Relief invites trusted organizations, churches, companies, volunteers, and supporters to partner with us.
Together, we can bring hope, dignity, and practical help to Myanmar families and communities who need it most.
