Leadership and Oversight
Myanmar Relief is guided by leadership that supports the mission, protects the organization’s values, and helps make responsible decisions. As the organization grows, we may add more staff, advisors, volunteers, and program leaders while keeping our structure simple, careful, and accountable.
A small organization can still make a meaningful difference when it works with honesty, trusted partners, and clear purpose.
Staff and Volunteer Responsibilities
Myanmar Relief staff and volunteers may help with community support, program coordination, communication, donor updates, volunteer organization, and partnership development.
Our responsibilities may include identifying community needs through trusted local contacts, helping plan relief activities, communicating with donors and volunteers, preparing updates and reports, supporting outreach, protecting the dignity and privacy of beneficiaries, and building relationships with local organizations and community leaders.
Every role matters. A person who helps write updates, answer questions, organize information, or connect with community partners supports the larger mission.
Working With Local Partners
Myanmar Relief understands that local partners play an important role in effective humanitarian work. People who live close to the communities often understand the needs, culture, language, and challenges better than anyone outside.
We aim to work with trusted local partners, community leaders, and service groups when possible. Strong partnerships can help us reach vulnerable people more responsibly and respectfully.
Volunteers
Volunteers are an important part of Myanmar Relief. Volunteers may help with communication, outreach, translation, fundraising support, community connections, photos, reports, or project assistance.
We welcome people who want to serve with kindness, humility, and responsibility. Small acts of service can become meaningful when they are done consistently and respectfully.
Communication and Reporting
Good communication builds trust. As our activities grow, Myanmar Relief plans to share updates about projects, community needs, relief activities, photos, and reports.
Myanmar Relief is a new nonprofit organization, and our history is still being written. We are building step by step with a commitment to integrity, service, and transparency.
